Bespoke hand-crafted and functional ceramics
"Clay folds, clay moulds, clay rests, clay sets,
Clay dances to the tune you love to hum,
Clay grows into the person you finally become"
-Praveen
The Ceramicist
Caeley started her pottery journey as a hobby soon after having her son three years ago. Previously a Primary School class teacher, she put her career on hold when she fell in love with clay and decided to expand and grow as a small business owner in Cape Town.
New To Blue is a space to explore your passion for clay, meet like-minded individuals and share creative ideas in a fun, relaxed environment.
Caeley offers weekly beginner classes for adults, once-off monthly workshops and private events in the New To Blue studio in Southern Suburbs.

Workshops
New To Blue hosts monthly workshops. They take place on Saturdays between 12:00pm-3:30pm.
These workshops are once-off events where you are guided through the process of making a set piece. Your piece is then glazed and fired for you in the studio.
No experience is required for these workshops and spaces are limited.
